The Abrahamic God Is Invented Through Narrative
i would personally argue for not a thinking rebellion, but a material rebellion against corrupt rabinical culture oror what have you. An kemu says, the greek heroes could aspire to become gods, but simultaneously with the gods who already existed at that time. To rebel against nature amounted to rebelling against oneself. It was butting one's head against a wall. So this is another main difference, is that the greeks viewed themselves as part of nature, so they would never think too like rebel against human nature or nature itself. That'll be important later on.
