Animals Don't Survive Death

Theologians are free to propose different ideas about how we should understand god. That's not the same thing as church doctrine, which says something is definitely true and makes it a matter of doctrine. You won't find magisterial documents mandating the view that animals don't survive death. If you want to settle the question, you have to actually look at and evaluate the argument.
