How I Lost Half of My Account
I was 20 or 21 at the time and thought, this is a mug's game. I'm not going to make any money from this. So I threw the towel in on the stock market and ended up getting interested in property. And that was held down for about five years before financial crisis here. But again, I hadn't really done the research. There wasn't any method to my trading. I didn't have any discipline or risk management. All I had was a pretty strong view that the world was going to hell. That led me to be turned into a kind of chicken little type character. The sky was falling in basically. I thought the US dollar was going to collapse.
