ZK is often used as a privacy tool, not always perhaps. One place where it's already been at least proposed is in the voting part. I don't really like the I think like privatization be connotated as lighter dark. It's just a something. But you'll never know where the money is going to be, where it's going, how things are voted on or whatever. Can you have any notion that people aren't cheating in system? So there's definitely that in the practical side. There's also this idea of anonymous multisigs and Constitution Dow too.
