The Importance of Intimacy in Theology
The idea of having God figured out is the wrong way for us to think about God. Jesus is saying a shocking thing in that verse that he is saying this is eternal life to genosco God. That kind of intimacy, that is the kind of knowing this transformational knowing that we're invited into. And that is all about mystery, right?
