The Bullard School of Thought: Inflation Over Financial Stability
Right now, we're looking at 50% odds of a may hike now. I'm with Bullard because I do think that unless there's tremendous tightening of lending conditions, then we're back on the 25, 25, 25. And if it's 2019, you're worried about we're not there and the Fed has to keep pushing. There's still just real issues in the system that they can't seem to solve. Meanwhile, we're going to get a core PCE number on Friday. We're coming off one of the hottest numbers we've seen in several points.
