The Gender Gap in Education

There are currently 1.6 million more young women with a bachelor's degree than men. In 1972, chances of a man getting a college degree in the US was 13 percentage points higher than a woman. Today, the chances of a woman getting a university degree is 15 percentage points higher compared to a man. The OECD says that every advanced economy has more young women and fewer male grads.
