The Peasant Revolt of Florence
A more successful example of a peasant revolt after the Black Death occurs in Florence among a group of people called the Chompie. The artisans, guildsmen, who have been cut out of city government rise up and get some concessions. Production quotas were raised in the wool industry to reduce unemployment. So the government and the unions are working together to get the disaffected,. happy to fuel the economy, and it's because these people rose up.
