Television and the Audience in a Different Way
We basically use a new technology to do the old job. Film gets invented, and it just films percinium, until griffith invents a language rit for film. And then, you know, likewise, television gets invented, and it's presumably for movies, or if it's news, somebody's sitting still. It's not until some time later that we generally get around to finding out what tha new technology actually does well.
