Twitter wanted very smartly to have a good relationship with journalists right so the way they did this is if you had a Ben Asgrin at Columbia Journal dot com and you you filed the form you would get verified instantly every journalist is higher status than everybody else. So of course they're going to be more amenable to presenting Twitter's point of view and benefiting the company as opposed to being objective.
