The Role of Egos in Modern Art

I think that you could you could claim that there might be some kind of disciplinary or cultural norms that are of like snobbery. But to also say no, everything they were doing was absolutely authentic and there's no influence of like egos or trying to fit into these cultural norms wouldn't be charitable. It just seems like John Searles is very mad. I look the way John Searle looks in this case it is unfair for me to dismiss him as a parasite on the profession of philosophy.
