The Importance of Objectivity in Science

I feel like science is still, and I think it has changed a lot over the past even, you know, 10 or 15 years, but it's still taught in such a dry way. We want to encourage these middle school girls of color that we serve through this organization to bring their whole selves to what they're learning about the universe. They don't have to leave who they are outside on the street when they come into a workshop with us to learn about stars and planets. We want them to use that information and process what they'relearning through the lens of their individual selves.
