Using a Git Hup to Test a New Drive

The full bad blocks writ read for pass test actually takes over a week to complete. After some trouble shooting, i was able to get the smart commands to execute and they reported no problems. The very first brand new drive. I started doing these tests on has been showing a bunch errors. Its found 32 errors so far and counting. Not having ever run these tests before, this surprised me and made me doubt the results,. or the value of doing this test at all.
