The Role of Resistance in Language
The concept of virality can be deployed either intentionally or unintentionally. The effects of the effectuation fall back upon the apparatus of communication itself. It's something to go viral doesn't need to, you know, be a word could be a sound or an image. We've never been able to get feedback from our writing so quickly before. Things like likes, shares and retweets are all new forms of getting habituated to certain types of communication. And articulates them as resistance, right? So in order for feedback to function, resistance has to be identified. Of course, resistance always precedes that which identifies it as such.
