The Importance of Feelings
The story of this volcanically destroyed city which we cannot both remember the name of is similar to the fabled death of the Roman civilization by barbarians right at least one theory. I like to say that we don't feel instead feelings and list us right it's like a ceremonial trail of ants It's almost something Winston Churchillian about the imperative to keep on hoping right? The world is too promiscuous to stay true to those stories but there are moments when even hope gets in the way of us seeing and being sensuously alive to what the world is doing.
