Dissociative Identity Disorder
Dissociative identity disorder simply means, as they used to say in the popular vernacular, a multiple personality. The person isn't split into two different people. They simply have aa part of the mind that forms another identity. And almost always that is connected to trama. People who can't dissociate develop psychosis and mental illness or states of unreality. That's how they deal with it. As they receive healing, the memory strikes back in a very healthy way.
