The Origins and Strategies of CRT
It feels like this is a coalition that isn't, as you pointed out, Orthodox Marxists at all. Instead they seem to have a very different understanding of what they're doing. Less of a group of people with a true ideological alignment and more of those who feel like by dismantling what currently exists, they'll be the new recipients of some particular material benefit. It's not a material benefit so much as that it is a social status benefit or a prestige benefit or a reputational benefit.
