Like for me I am totally happy to give as much leeway as possible for the films like this because it's like the Barbie doll was more or less a female toy and everything in Barbie's life was an accessory people houses mansions the convertible car. The kind of meta what do you call meta modern approach right is you're trying to tell a story but also have commentary on all these social issues while also trying to inhabit the world of the story which in this case is Barbie land.
