The Influence of Hokkien on Taiwanese Mandarin

A lot of traditional kanto pop is essentially just Mandarin and a Cantonese accent, right? With with Hokkien, they don't have the same. There's this sort of huge media, even with Cantonese,. I don't know if Hokkien really has that. But it's also everywhere. Every TV series, every drama that you watch from Taiwan will have at least small part where someone speaks Taiwanese Hokkien. It influences the Mandarin that they speak in Taiwan. People will use words straight from Taiwanese HokKien. Despite not having a standard, not having, aside from Granny dramas, you will run into it always.
