What Is the Best Treatment for Sedificile Infection?
The patient was initially treated with metronitus all. This is actually no longer recommended as first line therapy. The other choices are only indicated for refractory or severe disease, so would not apply to our patient. Fecal microbiota transplantation has been growing in popularity for severer refractory disease but it's not fda approved. But the goal with that therapy is to restore normal calonic microbial flora.
