We've had a curve of being able to develop te faster than the environment can become resilient to the way we use that predators increase. We were able to over hunt an environment and then enslave them through factory farming, so like this really different. It's a whole new genre of being to be able to do that. Catastrophic risks are mediated by the level of technological power we have that doesn't have adequate wisdom prudence binding and guiding its use.
