The Laws of Form

The narrator of this story keeps associating the angel with white and that is not by any means unique to this story. The whiteness in this can be sort of like a figure for the blank, undifferentiated nothing, a kind of a realm before distinctions. This book had a vogue in the 60s where a lot of people who had done acid found it really fascinating. It uses mathematical language to describe something of the mystical experiences otherwise impossible to put into propositional speech.
