The Guest of Robin Hood
Robin hood and little john exchanged apologies for their ridiculous quarrel. The two men embraced and then said a prayer for our lady mary. Most scholars believe that this ballad is actually a composite of a number of robin hood's stories. Eventually, the news made it back to the king that he had been deceived by little john and that robin hood had escaped. But instead of getting angry, the king only laughed and praised little john's loyalty to his friend robin hood.
