Patrice Lumumba's Speech on the Congo Independence Day
Patrice Lumumba was set to be the prime minister when the Congo got its freedom so he had written up a speech that was already kind of peppery. The king gets up in front of this mixed group and praises Leopold's civilizing mission in the Congo calls him a genius for foreseeing the Congo. Patrice is like writing furiously in the margins of his speech just like red-faced and just adding to what he was going to say.
