X-Men or Superheroes?

Mr. Epstein said he was fascinated with how certain traits were passed on and how that could result in superior humans. I don't like the term superior human. Like X-Men, yes. Would you call X-Men superior or just different? You know, it was not a giant superhero guy growing up. But they're super... I mean, yeah, they're superheroes, but they're mutants.
