The Importance of Weird Science in Your Novels

In each of the three books set in Baslag, I've taken a different kind of subfield of weird science and used it quite a lot in the book. My main issue is to try and make the technology plausible. And one of the things that I like doing is weird science. So magic in my world is a science, but it's a very weird science, you know.
