Beethoven's metrono marking is much, much faster. So the trio ends up sounding more like this. Instead of a beautiful pastoral landscape, we have something like a squeeze box honking away i vastly prefer this second version but it's still pretty unusual to most orch s. It usually takes some work for it to become comfortable.
