Cluster sets are powerful because they allow you to maintain movement velocity and the rate of force development. Having a short rest interval between the groups of reps or individual reps allows us a little bit of time to get partial recenthesis of fossil creatin, which gives us energy basically to perform another rep or at a high intensity. So what we're doing is we're getting these little bumps of recovery and that allows us to produce more force or produce more force rapidly.
