Aeriel and caliban are two characters in shakespeare's play the tempest. They both kind of reminded us of the actual characters, ariel and caliban. The theories that we have to explain it seem to be just a bit outside what we're able to test in the lab. But again, just like with a the anthropic principle or something like that, you got to keep trying... And hopefully we will figure it out at some point.
