Arnobius' Argument Against the Heathen Is Problematic
Lactantious says that images cannot imitate much less match the divine glory because he says going on for whatever is an imitation that must of necessity be false. This isn't necessarily an argument that the apostles would have made or recognized similarly arnobius in against the heathen said what then without these do the gods not know that they are worship referring to images? And so you can't assume once again a need correspondence between pagan deities and interceding christian a saints here that's needed in order to strike at my c2.
