Morgoth and Sauron, they can't create life. But what they can do is they can twist it. The other detail was a nice little nod to the idea of Tolkien, basically saying when Galadriel says, your kind was a mistake made in mockery. That holds very true to Tolkien. And then there's a moment when it seemed like they're playing into like this romance between them and I was just like, I don't think so, show.
