Is There Any Benefit to Fasting?

I think it's important for people to realize that while you're fasting, if you're not clearly adjusting any protein, then you know, you're not going to be anabolic. So the best you could do is to be net zero. In other words, not lose any muscle mass. And there's enough literature out there to show that in Asian populations that are malnourished and don't consider enough protein and are hypocaloric, that they lose muscle mass.
