There's nothing that says you need to keep it open and continue paying the annual fee. You want to keep a couple of old cards, aro a couple of yours, your oldest accounts because that's going to help your average age of account. So if you gotke some really old card n you're like, i don't need this any more...you may still want to keep that one.
