Call to Me, and I Will Answer You

The word of the lord came to jeremiah a second time while he was still shut up in the court of the guard and ah, so good. What does god say? He says, call to me and i will answer you. Jeremiah, 33, 34. So much goodness in here, the promise of god. Remember that jeremiah, he's still imprisoned. The city is still under siege. God hasn't removed the babylonians. He hasn't set jeremiah free, but he's reminding them. Just because god is quiet doesn't mean his absence, right? If he's silent does ean he's absent.
