Peter's birth mother and all of his maternal siblings were in Queensland. Peter was living just north of Sydney near Lake Macquarie at the time. In that very first conversation Peter's brother gave him their mother's phone number. He couldn't wait to reunite with her so a few weeks later they hopped on a plane.
