David Klochman said to himself, I have to come up with a name that doesn't sound Irish, but sounds kind of posh Irish. He thought back to his childhood in South Africa and remembered a dairy that was called Bailies. The drink became hugely successful all over the world and then ended up becoming successful in Ireland.
