The Origins of Raymond Scott's Music

I remember listening to a lot of like Kula Kane, a lot of his early recordings and Morton stuff. Raymond had that traditional set of skills as an arranger that he brought with it. I think because he was a great pianist, he was probably kind of making weird auto accompaniment systems where he could basically play and it would let him play but would play around him. He made all these really just great little kind of like nighttime. The soothing sounds for baby, right? That was a whole set of records.
