Cloudflare and Dino deploy do this. You only pay for the amount of time that the computer is doing work, not time that you're waiting. Some others use what's called CPU time. And then the third way is to pay by the box. I want a server with this many CPUs in it. I need this much memory. But one more I didn't talk about was like multiple environments. So it's very common now to have every time you put in a pull request to build an instance of that so you can actually see the output of the website.
