Uses of Depleted Uranium

depleted uranium is used for radiation shielding. But it also has military uses, such as armor plating and bunker busting missiles. So because it is so dense, it can a punch through armor. Even if you hate it with tank shell or whatever, it may not destroy the aircraft inside.
