How Generalists Over Automate Their Business
Brin: Generalists over automate their business too early and use the wrong sort of techniques. As a generalist you are spread so thin, because you are one inch deep in a giant pond,. verses a mile deep in a small, little area. And that's really hard to systemize. You are so shallow in what you can honestly do for someone when you're working with five to ten different types of people. There's just no way to run a business for that. It gets broken, it gets all jacked up.
