i think this movie really clicks when it is about andy's relationship with the magazine, whether that be personified by miranda or stanley tooche. A lot of stuff with adrian grener that that just kind of feels perfunctory. I don't know if that's in the script or in the performance, but he never really feels like a fully realized person. He feels more like a conflict engine. And i don't like that.
