Ouija Board - The Exorcist
In the early 20th century, Ouija board had kind of a silly reputation as a game. When people claimed they had used it to talk to spirits, they were usually not taken seriously or written off as crazy. But starting in 1973 with the movie The Exorcist,. Ouija board started to be featured in horror films and suddenly there were plenty of people who seemed genuinely concerned that this game could open up access to demonic spirits.
