The Republican Party's Fear of Donald Trump
I don't have a great sense that they want competent government. That's not the driving factor of what's pushing them. They're like owning the lives. They like fighting these fights. And Trump gives that to them win or lose. I thought we were close this weekend when Donald Trump Jr called for a backtracking on the Bud Light thing. But we haven't seen it yet. Everything I've heard about the the DeSantis camp is that they are very calculating. It usually means second guessing and scared.
