Getting a Planet Is a Good Idea

The idea of looking for a ward which is warm enough for life, but lacks the conditions to support it right now. We wiuld not find an unoccupied planet that humans could live on from dat one because our living conditions are a by product of other life. The faint young sun paradox makes life on venus early on, more likely. An ancient life on mars, less likely.
