Introduction
60 years ago, in 19 62, this library was engulfed in flames. The phosphorus bombs released black plumes of smoke that lingered across the horizon. No one at the time, knew who or what was responsible for this bombing. But given this happened as algeria was fighting for independence from france, they had a hunch. To day on cernin culture's the burning of the library of algiers, the missing books and a single librarian on a mission to retrieve them.
