What Are You Thinking About Core Inflation?
The market was already pricing in nearly a 75 basis point hike next week. We believe that they're going to need to get to four o, four and a half % by early next year. I think it's becoming increasingly difficult for the fed to navigate a super soft landing as it relates to the economic picture. Trade down effects are already happening. Looking at many of our borrowers after the second quarter earnings, this sort ofa money effect of higher prices ar muting, or at least masking lower volume levels.
