Sally Kohn: I never really thought about the fact that throughout your book, you i lieis no, and you don't read in all these books about abolition. And so i'm interested to know what gendered and ratialized factors went into who could actually condu science as you write in the science of abolition. She says she wanted to understand science as it was dominant, as it was understood in sort of mainstream discourse during the late enlightenment period.Kohn: It also made me think about more books in terms of of healingd and medicine. That's kind of a thought that kind of foregrounds other things we cand talk about later.
