Graphite and the Lincoln Laboratory
Darlin Miller's new book is a look at the science of graphite. She uses pastries and baclavas as analogies to help her readers understand it. Her research interests are in astronomy, but she also has an interest in material physics. "I knew that i was going to have to include some analogies along the way," says Miller.
