Teaching Polytistics in Small Steps
Pupils are taught in small steps so they don't have to deal with a deluge of information at one time. This means that lessons just over lesson you might spend 20 minutes teaching this the first bit, five minutes in the second bit, 20 minutes in the next bit and 30 on last bit. The pupils like being taught in small bits because they know what they need to know and they find it easier to remember. It's really clear what needs to be taught. It's also really clear what we need to retrieve in the future.
