The Differences Between Pop and Country Music

It's interesting because it's different with pop isn't it? Because obviously you've got that dull, ed Sheeran, huge crossover, soundsmiths done well over there. But to me, all that stuff like Chance Rapper, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, it's sonically more pop really. And yet the UK stuff seems more lo-fi, I don't mean less quality, it's just more grungy aren't it? Or maybe we're just used to the American stuff. Do you think everybody copies America?
